Hello Stampers!  Today is my birthday!  And it's a big one!!!  When my family asked me what I wanted to do today, I said I want to go out to eat and I really just want to stay home and make cards!  There aren't many people who love their job enough that that is what they want to do on their birthday!  I feel so blessed and lucky!

I also feel blessed because I received several handmade cards for my birthday!  Here are some of the cards that I received:

Hello Stampers!  I hope that you have enjoyed reading all about my incentive trip to Thailand with Stampin' Up!  I feel so blessed to have had the chance to experience this!  Thank you so much to all of my customers and team members for making this possible!

On Friday, we had the morning free and decided to make this our beach and pool time.

In the evening, we had our special closing session with Stampin' Up!  They rented out a restaurant and put a huge big top tent in the front yard!  There were food buffets, handicraft vendors, entertainment, and elephants!

We received this super cute elephant necklace as we left and of course there was a great pillow gift when we got back to our room!

The work that they do at this place to help these poor injured, tortured babies is amazing.  There is a group of us who are trying to do some fundraising for this great place.

Thanks so much for reading my recap of this amazing trip!  Now it's time to get going on earning the Alaska incentive trip!!!

Thailand recap part 2

Hello Stampers!  Just when I thought I was getting over my jet lag, I was so excited that I finally was going to be able to sleep in this morning and hopefully get caught up on my sleep and get back on schedule!  Well guess what?  I was awake and ready to get started on my day at 5:30!  I read somewhere that however many hours you are off, that is how many days it will take for you to recover!  If that is true it will be awhile still!

Anyway, let's talk about Wednesday in Thailand!

Today for our excursion, we boarded speed boats again and and went about an hour away.  Our first stop was to a floating canoe dock.  We all boarded three person canoes and off we went.  We had a rower who rowed us around some islands!

20170712_104049

From there we went to a private island that Stampin' Up! had rented out for us, for lunch and some beach time!

IMG_9298-001

20170712_150138

For dinner that evening we went to a restaurant that featured Thai Street Night!  Lots of yummy food to try!

IMG_9305-001

This was the best part, dessert!!  It is a Thai pancake with bananas inside!!!  Yum!

IMG_9306-001

And of course there was a pillow on the bed when we got back to the room!

Thursday was a fabulous excursion!  We decided to go zip lining!  It was great because we were actually zip lining in a jungle!!! Here is our group:

Here is me and Amie:

Here is a rope bridge we got to walk across:

20170713_110435

Here I come!

20170713_120514-1

It was all amazing!  In the afternoon Stampin' Up! held a Share Fair.  There were 6 demonstrators who made presentations on great fancy folds, new techniques, and showed us some new products!

That evening Amie and I went out for a special dinner together.   Look at this fancy meal:

And of course there was a pillow gift that evening!

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll finish the recap tomorrow if you want to stop back by tomorrow!

Thailand recap

Hello Stampers!  I finally have a little bit of time to share with you some of my recent Stampin' Up! Incentive trip to Thailand!  My daughter Amie went as my guest!  Such a great experience for both of us!

We left on Friday, July 7th for a 7:15 a.m. flight.  32 hours later we arrived at our destination, Angsana Laguna Resort in Phuket!  It was a beautiful resort and it was rented out the whole week just to Stampin' Up! demonstrators and staff!

IMG_9138-001

Our first full day was our day to do some sight seeing.  We rented a taxi for half of the day and went to see the Wat Chalong temple.

IMG_9129-001

It was beautiful.  You have to have on appropriate attire, and you can't wear your shoes inside, so here is what it looked like outside the door.

IMG_9130-001

After that we went to see the Big Buddha.  It was very cool!

20170709_132320

After we got back to our room, we had this lovely fruit basket waiting for us in our room.  It was filled with all types of Thailand fruit.  We even had a booklet telling us how to peel and eat all of the fruit!

IMG_9142-001

The second day was our opening day with Stampin' Up!  We had a general session in the morning where they revealed the upcoming Holiday catalog to us and gave away some new products!  We got to ride these open air busses to an offsite location.

20170710_090410

After we got back to the resort we ate lunch and visited the Hospitatility room.  This room was open for us to go to for something cool to drink and to get snacks from the snack table or one of the many candy buffets they had set up!

IMG_9304

That evening we went on a shopping excursion to Patong Beach.

20170710_173440

On Tuesday, our excursion involved taking speed boats out to some different islands and snorkeling.  Our first stop was the beach where the movie The Beach with Leonardo DiCapprio was filmed.  It was a tiny beach with TONS of people on it!  We didn't get to stay very long but we got to dip our toes in the ocean!

IMG_9165-001

We went to another resort island for lunch.

IMG_9180

IMG_9172-001

After lunch we finally got to go snorkeling.  The water was gorgeous and there were tons of fish!

20170711_125550

Every evening when we returned to our rooms after dinner, we had a pillow gift on our bed!  So exciting!

20170711_211051

I'm off to bed now!  I'll add more tomorrow!

Thailand 3D swap

Hello Stampers!  Today I wanted to share with you the 3D swap that I made for the Thailand trip.  When we signed up for the card swap, we could also sign up for a 3D swap.  I love 3D swaps!  It is so fun to see all of the fun little projects people come up with!

My upline Jeri, has been making items out of wine corks.  I decided that they would make a great Christmas ornament!  Here is what I came up with:

Christmas ornament, Inkin With Dink The corks are all cut in half first, then glued together.  The designer series paper circles are from the Be Merry designer series paper pack.  The snowflake is cut from the Silver Glimmer Paper using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  I then wrapped the Cherry Cobbler 1/4" Double-stitched ribbon around the outside of each cork.

Now let's just hope they all stay together during the 2 travel days with three plane rides!  Wish me luck!  I will be showing you the swaps that I received when I'm back home!

Thailand card swap

Hello Stampers! My daughter and I am in tropical Thailand enjoying the 2017 Stampin' Up! Incentive trip!  Stampin' Up! always holds card swaps on their incentive trips, so I was anxious to get into this one!  Want to see the card I made?

Pocketful of Sunshine, Inkin With Dink Looks like I took this picture before I added the rhinestones for the rivets.  I thought it was so cute!  We only had to make 26 cards, so we won't be swapping with everyone on the trip!  But I can't imagine making 350 cards to cover everyone, so I think 26 is a good number!

I can't wait to get home and share them all with you!

While I'm gone, remember the specials that are going on!
